A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 2025-2026 school year (CSY contract) serving K-12 students in an itinerant role supporting multiple private schools in the Winter Garden, FL area. This role involves delivering specialized speech and language services across several campuses, focusing on student needs from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessments, individualized therapy, and progress monitoring for K-12 students.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student communication goals.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Travel between assigned private schools as an itinerant therapist to deliver consistent and effective treatment.
- Participate in team meetings, IEP development, and implement strategies for student success.
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) from ASHA.
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Sciences and Disorders, or a related field.
- Experience working with school-aged children in a K-12 educational setting.
- Willingness and ability to travel between multiple school locations on-site.
- SLPAs will not be considered for this opportunity.
